తలుపులు : Doors

అడగకుండా తలుపులు తోసుకొని లోపలికి వస్తారు పిల్లలు
బయట ఉన్న ఆకాశమే లోపల ఉంటుంది కదా అని వాళ్ళ ఊహ
గదిలోపలి ఆకాశాన్ని ఎవరెత్తుకుపోతారోనని మనకి బెంగ

మనం శ్రమపడి ఊహించుకొన్న బూచాళ్ళు
మన ఆకాశం ఎప్పుడో ఎత్తుకుపోయారని మనకి తెలీదు

పోనీ వచ్చారు కదా అని రానిచ్చినందుకు
మన పెద్దమనసుతనానికి మురిసిపోతూ వుంటే
తలుపులు వెయ్యకుండానే వెళ్ళిపోతారు పిల్లలు

తలుపులు లేకపోతే బ్రతుకేమైపోతుందో ఊహించలేని మనకి
తలుపులు లేనిచోట జీవితం ఉంటుందని అర్థంకాదు


Doors

Without seeking permission,
Children gate-crash into the room
It’ll be the same sky in the room too
-They think
Someone might thieve our private heaven
-We worry

But, we don’t realize a fact-
The ogres of our laborious imagination
Had knocked out our sky, long ago!

As we rejoice at our benevolence
-Of permitting the kids in-
They exit without sealing the doors

We,
Those who don’t know
What would happen in the absence of doors -
Never understand-
Life will be there where there aren't any doors!
