ఏదైనా కావచ్చు

ఒక అందమైన ఉద్వేగం, శబ్దం, దృశ్యం

నిన్ను మొత్తంగా మారుస్తుంది

నీలో మరణిస్తున్న దేన్నో నిద్రలేపుతుంది

నువు పసిపాదాలతో 

నడక మొదలుపెట్టాలని చూస్తావు

ఇంత పిరికి, క్రూర ప్రపంచంలో

ఇదంతా అసంగతమని తెలుస్తుంది

ఇంతకన్నా దారి లేదని కూడా

రాలుతున్న పచ్చదనం, 

వెలిసిపోతున్న పసుపురంగు శబ్దం,

జారగిలబడుతున్న ముదురెరుపు ప్రేమలు

ఏవీ నీతో చివరి వరకూ నడవవని తెలుసు

నువు వాటి చివరలకి నిలబడవని కూడా

విసుగుపుట్టే రోజున

బుర్రలేని సినిమాకి వెళ్ళినట్టు 

ఈ లోకంలోకి తీరికగా చేరతావు 

ఇది బాలేదు, అయినా వెళ్ళలేవు

అట్లాగని ఉండాలన్న ఉబలాటం లేదు

తెలియని దేదో ఉంది చూసావా

అక్కడ వుంది బతుకు రహస్య మంతా

అది రమ్మని పిలుస్తుంది, కావాలని వినవు

నీకే ఇంత తెలివి వుంటే

నిన్ను కన్న తెలివికి ఎంత ఉండాలి

ఆకలేసిన బోనులోని సింహం లొంగినట్టు

జీవితానికి లొంగిచూడు

తరువాత జరిగే దేనికీ 

నువు యజమాని కాదు గనక

నీకు చెప్పాల్సిందేమీ లేదు

To Yield

It could be anything:

A beautiful emotion, sound, sight

It transforms in entirety

Waking that something vanishing in you

You attempt to walk 

With soft infant feet

In this timid, ruthless world

Knew this is all irrelevant 

Also knew there is no other way

Shredding greenery

Waning yellow sound

Weakening thick red love

Knew that none will walk with you till the end,

You will not accompany them to the last

You enter this world just like that 

Like watching a stupid movie 

Having nothing better to do

You don’t like it, yet cannot leave

But don’t feel like staying either

Look, there’s that unknown something

The secret of life lies therein 

It invites you, you neglect it deliberately 

If you are so intelligent 

How shrewd it must be, 

That conceived you

Like the lion in a cage yielding to hunger 

Check yourself after surrendering to life

Since you are not in charge of anything

That takes place thereafter,

there’s nothing more to tell you.
